Copyright and Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everything on frevo.tools, and in particular to tools that retrieve media from a public link on a third-party platform. It sits alongside our Terms of Use. We designed these tools to be narrow on purpose: one public item at a time, no logins, no watermark removal, no audio extraction, and no way to reach content that is private or protected. Those are technical limits in the product, not just promises in a document.
Permitted use
You may use these tools when all of the following are true: the content is publicly accessible without a login, paywall, age gate, region lock or any other technical restriction; you are the rights holder, you have the permission of the rights holder, the work is in the public domain, or the licence attached to it allows what you are doing; you download one item at a time for your own use; and you keep the original watermark, creator credit and metadata intact. If you are not sure whether you hold the necessary rights, ask the creator before downloading.
Prohibited use
You must not use frevo.tools to remove or obscure a watermark or creator credit; to extract audio or music from a video; to obtain private, paid, age-restricted or region-restricted content; to supply credentials, cookies or session tokens; to bypass a login, token, paywall, rights management or any other technical protection measure; to download profiles, playlists or content in bulk, or to automate access; or to republish, redistribute, monetise or train models on content you do not have the rights to. Downloading a file through frevo.tools grants you no licence in it. Publicly visible content is still protected by copyright: in Brazil, reproduction generally requires authorisation from the rights holder under Lei 9.610/98, and the exceptions in article 46 are specific and narrow rather than a general permission for personal copying. Equivalent rules apply elsewhere, and several jurisdictions separately prohibit circumventing technical protection measures.
Requesting removal or blocking
We do not host a library of media: video tools stream through a short-lived tunnel without writing the file to disk, and conversion jobs expire automatically after about 15 minutes. We never publish shareable links. That means there is usually nothing for us to take down after the fact. What we can do, and will do, is block a specific link, account, domain or source so our tools stop working with it, and suspend the users responsible. If you are a rights holder or their agent, send your request to the address on our Contact page or use the Report Content page. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to act on substantiated requests promptly. Please note that we operate this as a voluntary complaint channel; we do not claim the status of a hosting provider under the United States DMCA safe harbour, and nothing here waives any right or defence available to us or to you.
Repeat infringement and enforcement
We keep short technical logs specifically so we can act on complaints. We may block sources and suspend access without prior notice, and we permanently bar access for anyone who repeatedly targets content they have no right to. We may also refuse service to any request that appears designed to circumvent the limits in this policy.
Trademarks and independence
frevo.tools is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or in any way connected to Instagram, Meta Platforms, TikTok, ByteDance, YouTube, Google or any other platform. Platform names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe what a tool is compatible with, in a nominative and descriptive sense.
