frevo.tools provides practical utilities and file converters. Many tools run only in your browser. Some converters (for example DOCX → PDF) need server-side engines and temporarily process your file on our infrastructure. We do not require an account.
Data processed in your browser
Values you type into local tools (for example CPF/CNPJ numbers) and files you convert with local converters (images, many PDF tools) stay on your device for that work. They are not uploaded as part of how those tools work.
Files processed on our servers
Cloud converters upload your file to our VPS only to run the conversion (for example LibreOffice for DOCX → PDF). We store input and output temporarily, capped at 500 MB per file, and delete them automatically after about 15 minutes. Downloads require a private job token (not a public share link). We may keep short technical logs (time, IP, file size/hash, job status) for abuse prevention, then discard them. Do not upload files you are not allowed to process.
Tools that retrieve media from other platforms
Our video tools work on a link, not on a file you upload. When you submit a link, the following happens: the link is normalised (we strip tracking parameters) and sent to our server; our server, not your browser, contacts the platform to resolve a direct media URL; we open a short-lived tunnel that streams those bytes to you without writing the video to disk; the tunnel metadata (the resolved URL and an access token) lives in server memory for about two minutes and is then purged, and each tunnel works once. The request reaches the platform from our server IP address, not yours. We keep short technical logs (timestamp, your IP address, the normalised link, tunnel status) to enforce rate limits, investigate abuse and answer rights-holder complaints; these are kept for up to 30 days and then discarded. We never ask for, receive or store your platform credentials or cookies, and we never publish a shareable link to your file.
Cookies and local storage
We may store a language preference in local storage. Hosting and CDN providers may set technical cookies needed to deliver the site securely. When advertising is enabled, Google and other ad partners may also set or read cookies and similar technologies as described below and in the Cookie Policy.
Advertising
We may show ads through Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) or similar networks. Those partners may collect or receive data such as cookie identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited on frevo.tools, in order to show, measure and personalise ads. Google may use this information according to its advertising and privacy policies. You can manage ad personalisation at https://adssettings.google.com/ and learn more at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. We use the Silktide Consent Manager cookie banner with Google Consent Mode so you can accept, reject non-essential cookies, or open Preferences before analytics and advertising cookies run. Ads may be turned off on some pages or until onboarding with the ad network is finished.
