Do I need to log in to Instagram?
No, and you should not. We never ask for your Instagram credentials or cookies, and the tool cannot reach anything that requires a login. That is a deliberate limit: it means only genuinely public posts can be fetched.
Can I download private posts or stories?
No. Private accounts, stories, close-friends posts and anything behind a login or age restriction are out of scope and will fail. We do not build around those restrictions.
Does the watermark stay on the video?
Yes. We deliver the file as the platform serves it, with the watermark, creator credit and metadata preserved. We do not offer watermark removal or audio-only extraction.
Am I allowed to repost the video?
Downloading does not give you a licence. A public post is still protected by copyright, so reposting, editing or commercial use normally needs the creator permission. If you are not the rights holder, ask first.
